On May 4, 2024, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Farhod Salim met with the Chairman of the German-Central Asian parliamentary group Mr. Manfred Grund and members of the German Bundestag.

During the meeting the sides discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between Tajikistan and Germany. The parties expressed their interest in further strengthening the relations between Tajikistan and Germany in priority areas.

The parties also exchanged views on the existing threats and challenges and assessed the important contribution of inter-parliamentary, cultural and scientific-academic relations in the expansion of cooperation.
